In Mr. Dumont’s words, “The Red Cross is one of the longest, continually operating non-government organizations in our state and region. For 102 years it has been an essential organization that unites people from across a community to bring care and assistance to their neighbors and strangers, at times of need and vulnerability. It is a force multiplier and a force of nature for good in times of trouble and need. As importantly, it is also focused on making communities, and the people in them, resilient, ready and prepared should disaster strike.
The Red Cross is community-focused, mission-driven, and volunteer-fueled. I’m honored to play a small role in such a significant organization.”
