LAS VEGAS (November 5, 2025) — As the energy of Latin GRAMMYs’ Week fills Las Vegas, the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada invites the community to honor the rhythm, culture and generosity of Latino heritage by donating blood at the Los Donantes Blood Drive on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 444 E. Warm Springs Rd, Suite #110, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
“This week, as Latino artists take the stage to share their gifts with the world, we’re asking our community to share something just as powerful — the gift of life,” said Rachel Flanigan, Executive Director of the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada.
Latino culture is rooted in giving, and by donating blood, Latinos can turn that generosity into hope for patients and families who need it most. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion — a friend, a family member, a neighbor. Without the generosity of blood donors, lifesaving care simply isn’t possible.
“Nearly 90% of diabetes cases in the U.S. are Type 2, which develops gradually and often goes unnoticed until after significant damage has occurred,” said Dr. Courtney Lawrence, Medical Director for the Red Cross. “By testing and identifying high A1C levels early, donors can take proactive steps to prevent or manage chronic illnesses, improve their quality of life and while saving lives with their donation.”
Those who come to give will enjoy a mini cultural experience featuring Spanish-language music from Latin GRAMMY-nominated artists, festive papel picado and sarape décor, and specialty canteen snacks such as Gansitos, Jumex juices, mazapanes and more. Each presenting donor will receive a Latin GRAMMYs luggage tag and an exclusive Los Donantes t-shirt (while supplies last).
Additional donor rewards include:
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are strongly encouraged. Visit RedCrossBlood.org/Espanol and enter Sponsor Code: latingrammys to schedule your donation.
