LAS VEGAS (March 10, 2026) — This March, four “March Matching Madness” days will offer Southern Nevadans dollar-for-dollar matches for donations to the American Red Cross, backed by $550,000 from foundations, corporate partners and community supporters. On each match day, online donations unlock matching funds to support Red Cross services that help families after disasters and strengthen communities year-round.
The first match day kicks off today, March 10, and is supported by Masco Corporation, a global leader in home improvement and building products. Masco will match donations up to a total of $100,000 made on redcross.org by 11:59 p.m. Tuesday. Donations support Red Cross services including disaster relief, lifesaving blood collection, preparedness training and resources for active-duty military families.
“Matching funds help turn a day of giving into real assistance for families,” said Rachel Flanigan, Executive Director of the American Red Cross Southern Nevada Chapter. “These matching funds allow us to expand our reach, providing more relief, more training and more hope to those who need it most.”

Support Making a Difference in Southern Nevada and Nationwide
Last year, the American Red Cross was a lifeline for families facing disasters like wildfires in California, flooding in Alaska and tornadoes in the Midwest. Red Cross volunteers have provided shelter, food and emotional support. The Red Cross provided more than $130 million in financial assistance nationwide to help families rebuild after disasters and responded to countless home fires.
Here in Southern Nevada, Red Cross volunteers last year responded to 265 home fires, installed more than 2,600 free smoke alarms and supported more than 700 blood drives. Red Cross of Southern Nevada volunteers also deployed to every major disaster response nationwide, putting in more than 8,500 hours.
