After a two-year hiatus, the American Red Cross on Long Island will host its annual Long Island Heroes Among Us Gala on Thursday, September 22, at the Oheka Castle from 6 to 11 p.m.
Chaired by the Honorable Charles Lavine and Joe Link, retired Suffolk County police officer, the Gala is the signature fundraising event for the American Red Cross on Long Island.
“Thank you to all who support the critical work of the Red Cross across Long Island. Whether Americans give of their time, talent, or treasure, their commitment to helping one another is an inspiration. And the community and civic partners we will honor at our Gala embody the best of this spirit,” said Jose Dominguez, CEO, American Red Cross on Long Island.
“We appreciate the dedication of our committee members, who have worked tirelessly to create a spectacular event that supports the lifesaving work of this volunteer-powered organization. Thank you to our partners, sponsors, and guests for their overwhelming commitment to make this event a success,” said co-chairs Asm. Lavine and Mr. Link.
