NEW YORK, NY, March 30, 2023 — Visitors to the NY International Auto Show can help save lives by donating blood and learning how to perform Hands-Only CPR. The American Red Cross in Greater New York is proud to partner with the New York International Auto Show to bring critical preparedness and safety information to the community.
The American Red Cross will be on site on Saturday, April 8 from 10 am to 3 pm for a Blood Drive. To donate blood, schedule an appointment at RedCrossBlood.org, Sponsor Code: NYAUTO. Please note, donors MUST purchase a ticket to enter the Auto Show. A discount is available for tickets purchased online at www.autoshowny.com. Use Promotional Code: redcross1233. Red Cross volunteers will be onsite to demonstrate Hands-Only CPR and provide other important health and safety information at Red Cross at Booth 1603, Level 1. Visitors can also get information on free emergency-preparedness resources, free smoke-alarm installations, and service opportunities with the Red Cross. The CPR demonstrations will take place at the top of every hour:
