New York, NY, March 28, 2022—The American Red Cross in Greater New York today announced the addition of Peter J Micca, Partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP as a new member to its board of directors. The Greater New York Region of the American Red Cross supports more than 12 million people in New York City, Long Island, Westchester and Rockland Counties, the US Military Academy at West Point, and Greenwich, Conn.

Peter has over 30 years of experience serving some of the most prominent global and domestic clients in the healthcare, technology and life sciences sectors and currently leads the National Health Tech Practice at Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Peter has spoken and presented on developing industry concerns at conferences such as the Digital Health Innovation Summit, the Financial Times Health Tech Summit, and the JP Morgan Health Conference. He also has extensive experience working with strategic, operational, and private equity purchasers, as well as initial public offerings (IPOs).
As National Health Tech Marketplace Leader, Peter currently leads the development of national industry strategy. He sits on the board of the St. John’s University’s Tobin College of Business and College of Health Sciences, and Docs for Tots as Chair of Finance Committee. His previous Board of Director and Advisory Board experience includes the Boy Scouts of America as Chair of its Audit Committee and Past President of the New York Chapter, the Columbia Business School Digital Health Tech Program, and the Endless Frontier Labs of New York University.
