Central & Southern Ohio Media Partners Show Up for Blood Drives All Year Long

2026 proved to be another fantastic year for blood drives with our media partners!

We started 2026 off with our NBC4 Give In Blood Drive in January where, coming off the slower collections during the holiday season, we colleded over 100 units of blood to help the blood supply bounce back.

Our radio partners at 99.7 The Blitz and 103.9 The Maverick in Columbus came together to host a blood drive in February, giving listeners a chance to make an impact with blood donations and meet some of their favorite on air talent

The ABC6/Fox28 Blood Drive is the biggest blood drive of the year in Ohio and once again saw hundreds of blood donors show up over two days in June to help keep the blood supply strong in the summer. And this year we added our friends from The Blitz and The Maverick to make the party even bigger!

0ur friends at 10TV and 97.1 The Fan hosted a blood drive in August during a time of desperate need for blood donations resulting in 115 units being collected, including a massive 51Power Red units.

Ronni Hunter from 99.7 The Blitz partnered with us to host the second annual Rock N Roll Up Your Sleeves blood drive at the King of Clubs concert venue in Columbus in September. We got to meet a bunch of Blitz fans and collect a bunch of blood ready to help those in need throughout the fall.

We were honored to partner with WHIO in Dayton to host their 7Circle of Kindness blood drive from our Dayton office. Over the four years of doing this blood drive we’ve collected over 300 units of blood, including nearly 60 units from this year’s blood drive

We’re excited to keep these partnerships rolling into 2027 where fans of these outlets get to come togther, donate blood, and make a positive impact on people’s lives.
