Your Red Cross is here to help you prevent, prepare for and respond to life-threatening emergencies by providing the following services:
Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation.
The Red Cross will come to you and your group to give a free preparedness presentation tailored specifically for your needs. We also offer a variety of presentations geared especially for our community’s youth.
Topics include fire safety, general preparedness, preparing for a pandemic flu and more.
Bilingual speakers are available and thanks to the generosity of individuals, companies and foundations, all community disaster education is free of charge.
Since 1979, the American Red Cross has been providing first aid services at public festivals, sporting events and concerts across the area! Our team of trained volunteers is the emergency first aid front line for almost 2 million guests who attend or participate in these events.
If you are planning an event and you want the peace of mind that your guests will be safe, let our trained and experience staff assist and advise you with your needs!
We could have just the opportunity you’re looking for ... whether it's training to respond to disasters, supporting a blood drive, delivering messages to members of our military, or connecting families displaced by conflict, we hope you'll join our mission.
