The Delaware Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross is part of the largest and most diverse service organization in the United States. We serve nearly two million people in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. We provide food and shelter in emergencies, collect and distribute lifesaving blood products, assist members of our armed forces and their families, teach lifesaving skills and more. All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.

Lynn Cohen serves as the Executive Director of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross. Lynn has been with the Red Cross since 2018.
Before being named Executive Director, Lynn served as both a recruitment specialist and engagement specialist, working to recruit and support Red Cross volunteers in the chapter.
Lynn has dedicated more than 25 years to various volunteer management positions, spanning from California to Pennsylvania. She lives in Broomall with her husband and their rescue dog.
Brian Dingerdissen was named Chairperson of the Delaware Valley Chapter Board of Directors in summer 2025. He joined the Board in 2022 and previously served as Vice Chairperson.
Professionally, Brian is the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury and Investor Relations at Essential Utilities. In that role, he leads the company’s financing and cash management activities, including developing and reporting performance against budget and the company’s long-term plan, as well as economic analysis related to refining the company’s operations. He is also the key connection between Essential and the financial community, including investors and rating agencies, and he is responsible for communicating the company’s financial, strategic and operation goals and results.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in finance and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Villanova University. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Villanova Executive MBA Alumni and the Philadelphia chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute.
