Former American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania Region Board Member Henry “Harry” McHugh passed away earlier this week at the age of 80.
Harry joined the American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania Board of Directors in the fall of 2002 and served as Board Chair for 2007 and 2008. He was a faithful friend to the Red Cross and a staunch supporter of the Red Cross House since its opening in 2003. He continued to serve our board as an Emeritus Chair and board member through this year.
Harry, who retired from Wawa in 2008 as Senior Vice President, served as Wawa'a Cultural Ambassador for many years following his retirement. You can read more about his career here.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 9:30-10:45 AM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home. Click here to read Harry’s full obituary.
