This spring, the American Red Cross is joining Metallica and its Foundation, All Within My Hands (AWMH), to urge fans to give back by giving blood at 11 M72 World Tour locations across the U.S., including Philadelphia.

A Red Cross X Metallica Blood Drive will be held in the Field House at Lincoln Financial Field on Tuesday, May 20 from 9 a.m.- 7 p.m. To schedule an appointment, visit RedCrossBlood.org/Metallica.  All who come to give at this drive will get a limited-edition Red Cross X Metallica T-shirt*, while supplies last.

This new collaboration between the Red Cross and Metallica will help ensure hospital patients never have to wait for critical, lifesaving care in the weeks and months ahead. By rolling up a sleeve to give, the Metallica family can help trauma victims, those facing cancer, new mothers, people living with sickle cell disease and so many more. Donors of all blood types are needed, especially type O.
