Learn to be “Red Cross Ready” in our new online format from the comfort of your own home! Every Tuesday and Thursday (y los miércoles en español), the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region is offering free preparedness education classes designed to help you understand, prepare for and respond appropriately to disasters big and small.
All you need is a laptop or smart phone to access the online classroom and to set aside some time on your calendar. Read below to find the class that's right for you!
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m., trained Red Cross subject matter experts present basic preparedness information including how to make or build a preparedness kit, make an emergency plan with your family and learn what to do before, during and after disasters of all kinds, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 p.m., this one-hour interactive program for students in grades 3-5 will teach children what to do in the event of a fire or earthquake, coping skills for stressful situations and general preparedness information.
Our educators are available to provide a virtual preparedness presentation for your group or organization at a time that works for you. Be Red Cross Ready, Pillowcase Project, and Prepare with Pedro are all available.
