Every hour of the day, the American Red Cross helps nearly 1,000 people in need. Thanks to the generosity of the American public and our partners, the Red Cross is there whenever and wherever we’re needed most.

We are thrilled that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has invited us to participate in their Light the World Giving Machines for a third year. This unique program provides the public with the option to donate to the Red Cross this holiday season. Our partner for more than 100 years, the Church has supported the Red Cross across many facets of our mission, including disaster response, biomedical services and international programs.

Through the Light the World Giving Machines hosted by our partner the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, community members can donate directly to the Red Cross and provide help and hope to others this season. Those visiting select Giving Machines can choose to donate to provide infant care kits for families affected by disasters, comfort items for veterans or vaccinations for children around the globe. You can find the Red Cross featured among other nonprofits in the Giving Machine located at the Huntington Beach Pier from Nov. 28 – Dec. 15 and later at Winter Fest OC at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa from Dec. 19-30.
