Orange County, CALIF. — January 29, 2025 — The American Red Cross of Orange County is looking for the public’s help to nominate community heroes to be honored at their annual Orange County Heroes Awards. The event will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the City National Grove of Anaheim.
The Orange County Heroes Awards is a celebration honoring local individuals, groups and corporations for acts of great bravery, selflessness, and humanitarian service in Orange County.
If you know an ‘ordinary’ person with extraordinary courage – someone who has saved a life, helped a neighbor in need, or made an impact in Orange County – the Red Cross encourages you to nominate them to be recognized as a hero at the upcoming event.
“The Orange County Heroes Awards event and luncheon is our way of recognizing people and organizations making a positive impact in our local communities,” said Becky Firey, Executive Director of the Red Cross of Orange County. “Each year, we are inspired by the amazing stories of heroism that we have the opportunity to share at this powerful and uplifting event.”
