The Red Cross of Delmarva in Wilmington, DE spans three states, providing lifesaving services to more than 1.4 million people across the Peninsula. The Delmarva Chapter covers the state of Delaware, and Caroline, Cecil, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Somerset, Talbot, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties in the state of Maryland, with support to Accomack & Northampton Counties of Virginia.

Theresa Young has been with the American Red Cross serving Delmarva for four years as the Executive Director. Having earned her degree in Business Administration, she has been a leader and strategist in the non profit sector for 20 years. Theresa lives in Delaware with her family and has served the Delmarva Peninsula community through her volunteer efforts, coaching the sport of volleyball, and facilitating team building and mentoring from youth to executive level leadership. Service to others and her belief in the Most Respectful Interpretation are what motivates her as she believes in helping one find their passion and then helping them "get to it".
