Holiday for Heroes

Join the South Florida Region of the American Red Cross in honoring our military heroes this holiday season through our annual Holiday for Heroes initiative. This year, we invite you to partner with us in providing holiday care packages to active-duty military members deployed around the globe and local veterans in hospitals or nursing homes.

Contribute by donating any of the following items:

Individually packaged or travel-size snacks (nuts, trail mix, beef jerky, dried fruit, Slim Jims)
Protein and granola bars
Individually packaged sandwich crackers with cheese or peanut butter
Non-perishable meat (individual packets of tuna, chicken, salmon; not canned)
Individual packets of flavored drink mixes (Crystal Light, electrolytes)
Gum, fun-size chocolate bars and candy
Phase 10, UNO cards, fidget spinners
Large print word search puzzles
Wet wipes
Blank holiday cards (Please select cards that celebrate the holiday spirit without specific religious references to accommodate our diverse group of service members
