FT. LAUDERDALE, FLA. (July 10, 2024) – The Broward County Chapter of the American Red Cross is proud to welcome Kay Yoder as Vice-Chair of its Board of Directors, made up of leaders within our Board of Directors who give of their time, expertise and compassion in support of Red Cross humanitarian services.

She serves as a member of the Tiffany Circle, a group of exceptional philanthropic women and Board Development Committee Chair,“ said Paula Prendergast, executive director of the Broward County Chapter. “She’s a phenomenal leader and strong supporter of the Red Cross mission.”
Down the street, across the country and around the world, the Red Cross helps residents prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies and disasters large and small. The organization serves the residents of Broward County through the power of its workforce and the generosity of the American public.
Kay Yoder, Board Vice-Chair
Kay Yoder is a strategic Environment, Health, and Safety Leader with over 30 years of global experience ensuring regulatory compliance, improving safety performance, and implementing sustainability initiatives into existing business practices.
She currently serves as the Senior Vice President, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Business Continuity and Sustainability, for Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits where she is responsible for strategy, design, development, implementation, and governance of national EHS programs, including risk mitigation, business continuity planning and sustainable business practices.
Yoder’s technical skills and managerial experience cover the specialty areas of conventional EHS, radiation safety, fleet safety and DOT compliance, transportation of hazardous materials, worker’s compensation claims management, business continuity and emergency response planning.
Kay Yoder has served on the Board of Directors since 2021, is a member of the Tiffany Circle and has recently been appointed to Vice-Chair for the American Red Cross Broward County Board of Directors.
