Motorola is an active partner in the Red Cross home fire preparedness, which aims to reduce home fire deaths and injuries by 25 percent in the next five years by getting people to take two simple steps that could save lives:

1) check their smoke detectors monthly and

2) practice their family fire escape plan at least twice every year.

Motorola’s commitment to offering opportunities for employees to be engaged and active in their communities shone brightly during recent events both canvassing vulnerable neighborhoods to increase fire safety knowledge and install smoke alarms and check or replace batteries.
