In late September 2022, Hurricane Ian caused massive destruction in Florida and other southern states. Over the past year, the Red Cross has remained by the sides of hard-hit residents, providing assistance and other recovery support to help individuals, families and communities get back on their feet and become more resilient against future crises.

Recovery from a disaster of this scale is a long and often arduous process. Because of the contributions of compassionate donors and supporters, caring Red Cross volunteers and employees can continue to work with our community partners to deliver ongoing recovery assistance in the months — and even years — ahead.
