MIAMI, FLA., (JANUARY 29, 2025) – On Saturday, March 1, 2025, the Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter of the American Red Cross will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the American Red Cross Ball: A Ruby Jubilee presented by the Guiribitey Family Foundation, along with the 5th Party in Red presented by Bacardi USA and the José Milton Foundation at the JW Marriott Marquis in downtown Miami. This signature fundraising gala, an essential event in Miami’s social calendar, will be chaired by Dr. Camila Guiribitey & Tatiana Guiribitey.
In honor of this milestone year, the Red Cross will pay tribute to the remarkable legacy of the past Ball Chairs who have hosted this prestigious event and recognize their dedicated support and unwavering commitment to the mission of the Red Cross.
“As the Red Cross celebrates 40 years of fabulous galas, this particular Ball is extremely special because we are leading as a mother-daughter duo and the Guiribitey Family Foundation is playing a key role as the Presenting Sponsor,” stated Dr. Camila Guiribitey, who is co-chairing the Ball alongside her mother, Tatiana Guiribitey.
“As always, the event will be epic! We see it as a family affair and we want to inspire other families to get involved with this amazing organization that makes a difference in the lives of thousands of people every day,” said Tatiana Guiribitey.
“We are delighted to mark this incredible milestone and celebrate four decades of community support,” said Deborah Koch, executive director of the Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter. “It’s only fitting that we honor the leaders who’ve made this legacy possible and help inspire the new generation to join in the critical work of the Red Cross. Together, we’ll celebrate the impact of the Red Cross during an incredible event highlighting the power of philanthropy and the resilience of those we serve in South Florida.”
The Ball will feature a cocktail reception, curated silent and live auctions, a moving tribute to past Ball Chairs and, of course, dinner and dancing to live music.
Following the Ball, the 5th Party in Red presented by Bacardi USA and the José Milton Foundation will bring Miami's next generation of philanthropists together for the official afterparty. Chaired by Michele Reese Granger, Monique Lavender Greenberg, Eric Milton and Amy Poliakoff, this high-energy event will provide a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, forge new relationships and experience a memorable night that embodies the spirit of celebration and supports the vital humanitarian mission of the Red Cross.
