MIAMI, FLA., (JANUARY 16, 2024) – On Saturday, February 3, 2024, the Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter of the American Red Cross will host its Garden Party in Red to celebrate over a century of service in Monroe County. This elegant evening will take place in the lush north garden of the Harry S. Truman Little White House in Key West.
During the event, guests will enjoy lavish culinary delights, exquisite wines and champagne, a live band, and a welcoming gathering with dear friends, all while supporting the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross.
“This event raises critical funds for services in the community – from disaster relief after a hurricane or home fire to assisting military members,” said John Spottswood, III, Board member of the Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter.
“The Red Cross is present in the Keys throughout the year helping to prevent personal catastrophes and offering relief when they do occur,” said Mayor Holly M. Raschein, Board member of the Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter.
This relief comes in the form of food, shelter, financial assistance, health and emotional support, recovery services, and so much more. The Red Cross is at work every day in the Keys – not just during hurricane season – helping to prevent personal catastrophes and offering relief when they do occur.
"We look forward to celebrating our mission and history in Key West at the Garden Party in Red," said Deborah Koch, executive director for the Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available to show your support in a significant way. For more information, visit redcross.org/GardenParty or contact Geishel Valverde at SouthFloridaRSVP@redcross.org or call (786) 914-4595.
