On April 27 and May 4, the American Red Cross South Florida Region hosted An Evening of Escape Presented By Ryder at local restaurant favorites in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties to thank our Home Fire supporters. This event offered a unique opportunity to educate others during a meaningful night out.

While the guests ‘escaped’ their homes to enjoy an intimate dining experience, they also came away with critical steps to save lives. Together, we brought awareness and support to Red Cross disaster relief efforts that help provide emergency shelter, recovery assistance, and other relief items to families who have lost their homes due to a fire.

The first-ever Evening of Escape raised more than $100,000 with all proceeds benefiting Red Cross preparedness, response, and recovery programs and services in the community.
