Elizabethtown, KY, September 10, 2019 — The American Red Cross’s Elizabethtown office, previously located at 405 W Dixie Avenue, has relocated to 6795 North Dixie Hwy.
“Relocating our Elizabethtown office will allow us to continue to serve Hardin and surrounding counties while being better stewards of our donors’ gifts through a more efficient use of our resources and community partnerships,” said Jennifer Capps, American Red Cross of South Central Kentucky Executive Director.
The new location will continue to support Disaster Services through preparedness and response, while also providing canteen services to area first responders.
To continue to serve our dedicated blood and platelet donors, blood donations can be made at Towne Mall, 1704 North Dixie Highway in Elizabethtown, several days each month and at area blood drives. Platelet donations can be made at the Red Cross Downtown Louisville Donation Center, 520 East Chestnut in Louisville, KY., and the Red Cross East End Louisville Donation Center, 291 North Hubbards Lane in Louisville, KY. Schedule an appointment to donate blood or platelets by downloading the free Red Cross Blood Donor App, visiting RedCrossBlood.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or enabling the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device.
