Please join us in welcoming Samantha Samples as our new senior disaster program manager for Idaho, Montana and East Oregon. Sam, who lives in the Billings area, succeeds Jennifer Bivert. Jennifer was recently promoted to regional disaster officer.

Sam brings a wealth of experience to the role, including a decade of service with the Red Cross. Most recently, she served as community disaster program manager for Eastern Montana, where she worked closely with volunteers, partners and communities to strengthen  disaster preparedness, response and recovery efforts.

Earlier in her Red Cross career, Sam served as a community disaster program manager in Central Florida, helping lead teams through complex disaster responses and supporting communities during some of their most challenging times.

Sam has built a strong reputation for developing volunteers, fostering community partnerships and advancing the Red Cross mission. We are excited to see her continue making an impact in this new leadership role and helping strengthen our disaster programs across the region.
