The American Red Cross in Greater New York is proud to welcome David Greene, Partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, as the newest member of its Board of Directors.

About David Greene

David Greene is a partner in the private funds group in the New York and Washington D.C. offices of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he represents global private fund sponsors in all aspects of their fundraising activities. Prior to joining Weil, Greene was a partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and, before that, an associate and later partner at Latham & Watkins LLP.

Greene earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2005. He received both a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active through fitness, attending live performances, traveling and enjoying great foods, whether cooking at home or exploring new restaurants.
