MINEOLA, N.Y. –APRIL 15, 2025 – The American Red Cross on Long Island is proud to announce that Su Chen, an entrepreneur and civic leader, has officially joined the Long Island Chapter Board of Directors as a new member.
“We are delighted to welcome Su to our Board of Directors here on Long Island,” said Jose Dominguez, CEO, American Red Cross on Long Island. “Her incredible breadth of experience in so many key industries that impact the welfare of Long Islanders will be invaluable as we continue our humanitarian work to take care of neighbors during their time of need.”
“The need for the Red Cross is as present as ever on Long Island, and it is our privilege to welcome Su to our incredible Board,” said Jim Flannery, Chair of the Board of Directors on Long Island. “With her mutli-faceted set of skills and experiences, I am confident she will be a welcome addition to our organization.”
ABOUT SU CHEN
Su Chen is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience spanning multiple industries, including work as an electrician for Local 3, interior designer, real estate broker, cosmetologist and more. Su is currently the co-owner of the TeamLogic IT franchise in Valley Stream, New York, a national information technology company which was named a Managed Service Provider of the Year by Channel Futures.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Su is deeply engaged in giving back to the community. She serves as Board Chair at the Urban League of Long Island, President of the Council of Affiliate Board Chairs for the National Urban League and is a proud member of several prominent organizations including the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Long Island Association, Long Island Elite, Long Island Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
