[JANUARY 10, 2025 — GREENWICH, CONN.] – The American Red Cross Metro NY North Chapter is proud to announce that Kelly Biderman, Chief Executive Officer of Havoc Robotics, Dr. Kisha Mitchell Richards, Director of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Greenwich Hospital, and Antonio Roman, Executive Vice President for Local Media Sales at TelevisaUnivision, Inc. have officially joined the board of the Metro NY North Chapter. Dr. Mitchell Richards joins as an ex-officio member.

ABOUT KELLY BIDERMAN
Kelly Biderman currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Havoc Robotics and leads the National Havoc Robot League, the world’s largest robot fighting tournament series. In this role, she works to uncover and empower the next generation of STEM leaders while pioneering iSports, a new category of innovative and intelligent sports entertainment. Kelly is a natural pattern-spotter with 15 years of experience in media and news.
Previously, Kelly’s career has spanned senior roles in operations, strategy and digital transformation at Katie Couric Media, Dow Jones and the Wall Street Journal.
She currently lives in Westchester County in New York with her husband, young son and German shepherd.

ABOUT KISHA MITCHELL RICHARDS, MD
Dr. Kisha Mitchell Richards currently serves as the Director of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Greenwich Hospital. She is the Chair of the Curriculum Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), Vice Chair of the CAP Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and Chair of the Long Ridge School (LRS) Board as well as the Chair of the LRS Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee. She is also a founding member of the Society of Black Pathologists.
Dr. Mitchell Richards led a team that implemented the first COVID-19 hospital drive-thru testing site in Connecticut, for which she was one of the recipients of the United Hospital Fund 2021 Excellence in Health Care Award for Quality Improvement Champions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as a member of panels to address vaccine hesitancy in Connecticut and the tri-state area and volunteered as a COVID-19 vaccinator in Stamford and COVID-19 educator in Greenwich and Stamford.
She received her degree in medicine from the University of the West Indies and completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Mitchell Richards began her career as an academic gastrointestinal pathologist at Yale University, where she became an associate professor and Director of Autopsy, before joining Greenwich Hospital in 2016.
Dr. Mitchell Richards and her husband, Amarfio, live in Stamford, Connecticut with their two boys along with her parents.
Dr. Mitchell Richard joins the Metro NY North Chapter board as an ex-officio member.

ABOUT ANTONIO ROMAN
Antonio Roman currently serves as Executive Vice President for Local Media Sales at TelevisaUnivision, Inc., the world’s leading Spanish-language media company, for the U.S. market. In this role, he oversees all local media sales activities and drives the revenue strategy for TV, Radio and Digital platforms across 22 markets. Since assuming his role nearly a year ago, Roman has transformed the division to adopt a more client-centered approach by introducing a new organizational structure aimed at strategic alignment, efficiency, and accelerated client results.
Previously, Antonio was the Regional President for the Eastern Region of Univision.
Recognized for his contributions, Antonio was honored with a Univision CEO Award in 2016 and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Television Bureau of Advertising (TVB). He has led rep organizations across multiple offices in major cities, managed a diverse portfolio of stations in key markets, launched Univision’s Financial Platform and drove significant annual billings. His results-driven marketing and sales expertise, coupled with his deep understanding of market trends, enable him to translate corporate priorities into profits that strengthen the bottom line.
