MINEOLA, N.Y. – July 21, 2026 – The American Red Cross on Long Island is proud to announce that Richard Neugebauer, Senior Vice President of Operations for Elecnor USA, has joined the Long Island Chapter Board of Directors.

"His extensive experience leading complex infrastructure projects, building high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence will be a tremendous asset as we continue serving communities across Long Island."

ABOUT RICHARD NEUGEBAUER

Richard Neugebauer serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for Elecnor USA and has played a key role in the company's growth since its early years. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Civil Engineering, he earned his New York State Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in 1997.

With decades of experience in the utility and infrastructure industry, Richard oversees the execution of complex infrastructure projects and provides operational leadership across the business. He is known for his collaborative leadership style, commitment to safety and integrity, and passion for developing strong teams and mentoring future leaders.
