MINEOLA, N.Y. – March 20, 2026 – The American Red Cross on Long Island is proud to announce that Philip A. Bellissimo, CPA, Managing Partner at Heritage CPAs, has officially joined the Long Island Chapter Board of Directors.

“We are excited to welcome Phil to our Board of Directors,” said José Dominguez, CEO, American Red Cross on Long Island. “His financial expertise, thoughtful leadership, and genuine dedication to supporting families and communities will greatly strengthen our mission.”

ABOUT PHILIP BELLISSIMO

Philip A. Bellissimo is a partner at Heritage CPAs in Hauppauge, where he advises closely held businesses on tax planning, compliance, and day‑to‑day financial decision-making. As the firm’s Managing Partner, he focuses on developing people, strengthening processes, and ensuring long-term organizational health. His prior experience includes several years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) supporting public and private companies on complex tax and compliance matters.

Philip also brings a passion for service. He serves on the Board of Heart of PPA2, Inc. and previously volunteered with PwC Project Belize, teaching financial literacy to students in Belize City.

A proud family man, Philip enjoys cooking, great coffee, and tackling a good honey‑do list. He and his wife, Kristyn, live in Dix Hills with their children, Dominick and Liliana, and their Labrador retrievers, Pepe and Capo. He holds both an M.S. and B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University.
