Louis M. DeBrino
Lou M. DeBrino has worked for PSEG Long Island since its inception in January 2014, where he currently holds the position of Vice President, Customer Operations. In this role, he oversees the Company’s Meter to Cash processes, Customer Contact, Utility Marketing and Sales, Key Accounts, and Economic Development areas, driving the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to advance business objectives and enhance the overall customer experience. Before transitioning to PSEG Long Island, Lou worked for National Grid and its predecessor companies (KeySpan and Long Island Lighting Company) for 23 years, where he held leadership roles in many areas, including Executive Advisor to the Sr. Vice President of US Electricity Operations, and other Director level positions.
In his current position, Lou is also responsible for Energy Efficiency/Renewables efforts, providing oversight and advocacy for the Company’s aggressive energy conservation and sustainability initiatives, including distributed energy resource and transportation strategies to align with the goals and objectives of the Long Island Power Authority and New York State. Lou also has former experience overseeing PSEG Long Island’s Emergency Preparedness organization and is past Chair of the North Atlantic Mutual Assistance Group (NAMAG) and Past Chair of the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Distribution Executive Committee.
William Haugland Jr. (Billy)
Billy Haugland II is Chief Executive Officer of Haugland Group LLC, a Long Island, New York based infrastructure services company with subsidiaries that provide a wide range of heavy civil, energy and transportation construction services. Exploring his passion for transportation infrastructure at a young age, Mr. Haugland took a role within his family-owned construction business, working in the field with project management teams. He has held several positions throughout the company’s subsidiaries, taking an immersive approach to learning the intricacies of the various businesses. In his current role, Mr. Haugland oversees the management of the Haugland Group’s portfolio, including Grace Industries LLC, and Haugland Energy LLC, which operate throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.
Embodying Haugland Group’s commitment to Long Island, Billy Haugland II holds multiple boards seats including; the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the Long Island Contractors’ Association (LICA), the Long Island Association (LIA), and the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society (AMCS.) Most recently, Mr. Haugland has been appointed to the Board of Advisors for the Energeia Partnership of Molloy University and is a member of the Class of 2021.
