Terrance “Terry” McGill is a retired oil and gas executive residing in Sugar Land, TX. He retired from Enbridge Energy in 2015. He has served on the boards of Fermaca Pipeline, Enview Software, Enbridge Energy partners and Midcoast Energy.
He formerly was President Columbia Gulf Pipeline Co. from 1997 – 2001 and before that spent 17 yrs. with Northern Natural Gas, Enron and its affiliates. He has experience in M&A, pipeline development and operations.
He holds a Finance degree from University of Houston.
He has been an active member of a variety of organizations within the gas and oil industry and has been a proud Red Cross volunteer for 28 yrs.
Elizabeth Bázan Hawkins is a highly accomplished legal executive with a distinguished career spanning corporate governance, municipal law, regulatory compliance, and strategic advisory roles. She currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Coastal Plains Chapter of the American Red Cross, where she applies her leadership and legal expertise to support the organization’s mission of disaster relief and humanitarian service. Throughout her career, Elizabeth has held prominent positions, including Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary for multinational corporations, as well as First Assistant City Attorney for the City of Houston. She has managed complex legal operations, transformed a 200-person municipal legal department, and led high-stakes initiatives involving mergers and acquisitions, contracts, litigation, compliance, and regulatory affairs. A proven leader, she excels in providing clear, strategic counsel to diverse teams and stakeholders, enabling organizations to navigate challenges effectively.
Elizabeth is deeply committed to public service and community engagement. Her leadership extends beyond her professional roles to include service as a past president and advisory committee member of the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston and on the Advisory Committee for Medical Bridges of Houston. With a Juris Doctorate and an LL.M. in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources from the University of Houston, she combines her legal acumen with a passion for advancing equity and innovation. As a Red Cross board member, Elizabeth leverages her expertise to enhance operational efficiency, foster partnerships, and support initiatives that strengthen community resilience. Her dedication to excellence and collaboration makes her an invaluable asset to the Red Cross and the broader community.
Jona Sargent is a retired insurance professional with 36 years of successful claim experience. As a leader in a Special Investigation operation, she led teams of personnel located in Arkansas, Tennessee, South Carolina, Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas in the resolution of auto and/ or fire property, injury, commercial, or other business claims with fraud indictors. She oversaw all phases of litigations throughout the discovery processes and trials. Jona also served as a liaison to the public, governmental entities, and law enforcements agencies on claim related issues.
Jona holds a Maters of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix-Houston, Texas, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Houston.
As an active member of community organizations, she currently serves on the board of directors for Worklife Houston, the Houston Texans YMCA Advisory Board, and the American Red Cross Coastal Plains Chapter. Jona also serves as a Harris County Civil Court Appointed Special Commissioner on condemnation cases.
