Christal Prince joined the American Red Cross as the executive director for the Northeast Texas Chapter in October 2018. Prince is based in Texarkana, Texas, where she oversees Red Cross programs and services for more than 362,000 people in Bowie, Camp, Cass, Delta, Franklin, Hopkins, Lamar, Marion, Morris, Rains, Red River and Titus counties.
Prior to joining the Red Cross, Prince spent more than 20 years as an entrepreneur with businesses in Texarkana and Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and De Queen, Arkansas. Most recently, Prince functioned as the community manager for the American Cancer Society where her service area was composed of up to nine East Texas counties. Her responsibilities included development, community relations, and volunteer growth and participation.
Volunteering for Women for the Arts, Prince garnered additional experience in volunteer growth and coordination, community relations and fundraising.
Prince has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas A&M Texarkana with a secondary emphasis in communications.
