Nicholas Glasgow
Nicholas Glasgow, Mapleton City Fire Chief, joined the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Central & Southern Utah in 2023 and he was appointed Board Chair in 2025. He is also an active member of the Board's Mission Committee. Chief Glasgow has fostered a close relationship with the Red Cross, coordinating numerous blood drives and emergency preparedness events.
Chief Glasgow was appointed to his role as the head of the Mapleton City Fire Department in 2018. He actively participates in several professional associations, including the Mapleton City Firefighters Association, Utah State Fire Chiefs Association and Utah County Fire Chiefs Association. Before his tenure in Mapleton City, Chief Glasgow served for 10 years as a Fire Captain – Paramedic with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. His education includes associate degrees in Wildland Fire Management and Emergency Services from Utah Valley University, as well as a Paramedic certificate earned at Riverside City College in California.
