Greater Salt Lake Chapter Board of Directors
The Boards of Directors with their combined diverse experiences are critical to assisting with strategic planning and fundraising to support the Chapters' humanitarian mission and services.
Taylor Jones
Taylor Jones joined the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Utah Greater Salt Lake Chapter in 2021. She has served on the Board Executive Committee and was appointed Chair of the Board in 2025, following her term as Vice Chair. In addition to her work with the Red Cross, she is an active member of the Utah Bankers Association.
Taylor is the District Manager for the Salt Lake South District in the Utah Region at Wells Fargo, where she has worked for over 20 years. She began her career in 2000 as a teller and progressed through roles including personal banker, service manager, and store manager. In 2012, she became District Manager for the Eastern Utah/Weber District before transitioning to her current role. Taylor holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound.
Devin Pope
Devin Pope joined the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Utah Greater Salt Lake Chapter in 2023 and was appointed Vice Chair in 2025. He also serves on the Board’s Executive Committee. A committed blood donor, Devin is passionate about raising community awareness of the many ways the Red Cross supports those in need. Beyond his work with the Red Cross, he is also a member of the Utah Humane Society Board of Directors.
Professionally, Devin is the Senior Advisor and Managing Partner at Nilsine Partners, a registered independent investment advisory firm. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA from Westminster University.
Sarah Huizingh
Sarah Huizingh serves as the Chair Emeritus of the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Utah Greater Salt Lake Chapter, following the completion of her two-year term as Board Chair in 2025. She joined the board in December 2020 and was appointed Chair in 2023. Sarah is also an active member of the Executive Committee.
A passionate blood donor since her first high school blood drive, she now advocates for regular blood and platelet donations. Her work with the board has deepened her appreciation for and commitment to the diverse missions of the American Red Cross.
Professionally, Sarah has held several leadership roles at Motorola Solutions, specializing in marketing, communications, and strategy. She currently serves as the Vice President of Global Marketing and Web Experience for the company. Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of Utah.

Tami Fisher
In 2024, Tami Fisher, a dedicated volunteer with the American Red Cross, was appointed to the Board of Directors for the organization's Greater Salt Lake Chapter. She was also appointed to the Biomed Committee, where she will advocate and inspire community members to donate blood and community groups and business leaders to host blood drives. Tami champions the American Red Cross mission to enrich communities with a diverse array of essential services.
Professionally, Tami has been a part of Zions Bancorporation for almost two decades. During her tenure, she has held various roles, now serving as the Senior Vice President and Director of Technology, Strategy and Governance. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Westminster University, located in Salt Lake City.
Liz Frome
Liz Frome is deeply committed to the mission of the American Red Cross, finding joy in supporting its lifesaving work. She joined the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Utah Greater Salt Lake Chapter in 2020 and served as Board Chair from 2022 to 2023. Liz remains actively involved through her role on the Biomedical Committee, where she collaborates with Red Cross staff and volunteers to make a meaningful impact in her community.
Outside of her work with the Red Cross, Liz is the founder and Chief Strategist of Sobriquet, a Utah-based marketing consultancy specializing in marketing strategy, brand messaging, and client experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of Utah.
Jeff Hansen
Jeff Hansen joined the board in January 2018 and has had the opportunity to serve in various capacities as a volunteer, including Mission Committee Chair and Board Vice Chair. He is passionate about the mission of the Red Cross and enjoys being part of an organization that does so much good for the communities in which we live.
Jeff works for Dominion Energy and is currently the Director of Pipeline Safety Management Systems.
Steve Jensen
Steve Jensen joined the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Utah Greater Salt Lake Chapter in 2025. He was inspired to get involved by the Red Cross’s longstanding tradition of educating communities on safety and emergency preparedness. With training in emergency management, Steve is eager to apply his knowledge and experience to his volunteer work with the organization.
Professionally, Steve has been the Emergency Dispatch Supervisor at Enbridge Gas since 2019, where he manages employees and serves as a liaison with 911 dispatch centers and fire departments. Before stepping into his supervisory role, he spent nine years as a Lead Operations Specialist in the Salt Lake City Operations Department. During that time, he specialized in employee training and mentoring, project management, and emergency response.
Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Utah Valley University.
Ken Johnson
Jennifer Leary
Jennifer Leary joined the board in 2021 and has enjoyed serving as a blood donor and member of the Philanthropy Committee. She is passionate about the mission of the American Red Cross and is looking forward to getting more involved.
Jennifer is a Community Health Director at Intermountain Healthcare. She has more than 12 years of healthcare leadership experience including roles in community health, behavioral health, practice management, palliative care, virtual health and healthcare strategy.
David Loach
Dave Loach has been a board member since July 2017 and received a Volunteer Leadership Award from American Red Cross in 2020. He has previously served as Vice Chair, Chair and a member of the Outreach Committee. His most rewarding experiences have been engaging with volunteers and donors at blood drives and events.
Dave left England in 2004 to join IC Group, a Utah based printing and technology company and currently serves as the company’s President.
