Megan’s career focus is humanitarian response, with 15 years of service within the humanitarian context, marketing, fundraising, and advocating for humanitarian needs.
With that background, Megan has served the Red Cross on the South Puget Sound and Olympics Board for three years, leading the Philanthropy Committee and as Board Secretary. This service allows Megan to support needs close to home while her professional work focuses on global needs.
She currently works in her dream job as the Senior Manager of Grassroots Organizing for World Vision. She equips national supporters to advocate for World Vision’s prioritized humanitarian issues and recently hosted an event in Washington D.C representing 220 Advocates and 30 states, with speakers U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas Greenfield, USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, Administrator Sarah Charles, White House Faith and Neighborhood Partnership Director, Adam Nicholas Phillips, the House Chaplain, Margaret Kibben, and the United States Global Leadership Coalition CEO, Liz Schrayer.
Megan thrives in taking organizational supporters into a continued and transformational journey, inviting them further into meaningful relationship, both through creating best-in-class event experiences and effective digital cultivation.
She has a Master’s Degree in International Development and has studied Human Rights and Foreign Policy at Harvard University.
Megan is married to Chris Pratt (yep) and though she’s proud of her Alaskan roots, lives in Tacoma.
