Join the American Red Cross for a free, family-friendly preparedness event.
Are you and your family prepared for the unexpected?
Join the American Red Cross for Family Preparedness Day, an engaging and interactive event designed to help families build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to prepare for emergencies and disasters.
Through preparedness presentations, hands-on activities, and a tour of the Red Cross warehouse, families will learn practical steps they can take to create an emergency plan, understand what to do before, during, and after a disaster, and identify the essential supplies every household should have on hand.
The highlight of the event will be the opportunity for families to build and take home their own disaster preparedness kit.
