Each year, we recognize remarkable individuals who have performed extraordinary acts—whether by saving lives or embodying the spirit and mission of the American Red Cross in other meaningful ways.
Hometown Hero Criteria
Nominees must live or work in Los Angeles County, although their heroic acts may have taken place elsewhere.
In May 2025, our community came together to honor the extraordinary individuals who went above and beyond to help others in times of need. The 20th Annual Hometown Heroes Luncheon was a heartfelt celebration of courage, compassion and selflessness.
