LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8, 2022 — The American Red Cross Los Angeles Region and ADT are teaming with Athletes in Action as part of a Super Service Project to build 500 emergency kits on Feb. 11, ahead of the Big Game. With a commitment to keeping communities safe, ADT and Red Cross naturally partnered and have organized one of the few weekend programs that give back to the community.
The emergency kits will include items ranging from emergency information guides and rain gear to a whistle and a blanket. Each kit will also include an inspirational note written by ADT employees.
The emergency kits will be distributed by the Red Cross to Los Angeles vulnerable community members and veterans. Additionally, a $25,000 contribution will be made to the American Red Cross to help expand its mission in the Greater Los Angeles region.
In addition to the kit build, each volunteer will be offered a ticket to the NFL-Sanctioned breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 12 at the JW Marriott LA Live where the Bart Starr Award will be presented to Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks.
