HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — February 5, 2025 – Greg Dixon, the owner of Calmoseptine, Inc. has committed an impactful gift of $1 Million to the American Red Cross disaster relief and recovery efforts in response to the devasting wildfires across California.
“The American Red Cross is on the ground in California, delivering safe shelter, warm meals, emotional care and financial assistance to those impacted by the unprecedented wildfires. Partners like Calmoseptine are vital to our mission, helping us bring hope and comfort to those who need it most. We are deeply grateful for their generous support during this critical time,” said Denise Everhart, Red Cross Pacific Division Disaster Executive.
Thousands are struggling after the catastrophic wildfires wiped out their homes, cherished mementos and even their livelihoods. To help cover urgent expenses we accelerated our financial assistance program to empower families to take control of their recovery.
Amidst the heartbreaking stories, the Red Cross has seen the best of humanity. This gift from Calmoseptine will bring resources and a sense of hope to those who need it most. Dixon strongly encourages his community and fellow business owners to do all they can to support their neighbors in need. “Imagine if every wealthy individual donated a significant amount of their wealth to charity each year, we could make a huge impact on those less fortunate,” Dixon expressed while sharing the motivation behind his philanthropy.
With so many organizations with compelling missions to support, Dixon is often torn with which causes to direct his generosity. Through establishing a relationship with Red Cross senior disaster leader, Denise Everhart, Dixon trusts that his donated dollars will go far in bringing relief to vulnerable communities following a disaster. “Denise shared with me the partnerships and investments her teams have made to make their operations streamlined and efficient,” Dixon shared.
Calmoseptine, Inc. has been a loyal supporter of the Red Cross since 2018, generously contributing over $3.3 Million to several disasters and special initiatives such as our First Aid App, Covid-19 response, and providing Calmoseptine® Ointment packets for client distribution. “The Red Cross is honored to earn the trust and generosity of Calmoseptine, Inc. and sincerely appreciates all of their philanthropic efforts to help alleviate human suffering across southern California and beyond,” continued Everhart.
