From Crisis to Recovery: Fostering Resilience in the 21st Century
Emergencies will happen – we just don’t know when or where they might occur, or how large of a response could be needed. But from climate change to public health; and cyber-security to wildfires and hurricanes, one fact remains: the frequency of large-scale disasters is on the rise.
We must prepare now to respond, recover and survive. Recently, as we continue to work, live and volunteer amid a global pandemic, corporations and organizations of all sizes have drastically altered the way they conduct business. But, as we look to the future of disaster preparedness and emergency response, how can we work together to ensure cross-sector sustainability following any type of crisis? And what happens when prioritizing equitable access to resources is added into the mix? From Washington, DC; to Baltimore, MD; to Wilmington, DE and everywhere in between, how can our community attain resiliency in the 21st Century?
At our 4th Annual Disaster Preparedness Summit, you will hear from:
- Special guests with proven experience in leading through the natural and man-made disasters of today, and tomorrow
- Red Cross executives – on how the organization plans to sustain larger, more-frequent disasters
- Industry leaders from major national and global companies – who will share their forward-thinking views on emergency management
- Local thought-leaders of higher education, government, and other industries – on the lessons they plan to pass along to our next generation of advocates
This virtual event will offer choices in breakout sessions and Q & A discussions on a variety of topics. Plus, sponsoring partners will have the opportunity to secure a table at the Executive Luncheon to continue these important conversations, all while connecting with like-minded public-sector and business leaders.
Date & Time: Thursday, March 24, 2022. Stay tuned for more details and registration opening in early 2022.
