The Red Cross has begun conducting damage assessments in partnership with state and county officials across multiple impacted areas in Kentucky. To ensure we serve everyone affected as promptly and efficiently as possible, we are using a phased approach across impacted counties. This process begins with damage assessment, followed by validation and determination of eligibility for financial assistance.
Once those steps are complete, qualified households will receive invitations from the Red Cross via text, email, or phone call. We will then move to the next county and repeat the process. Please note it will take time to reach all affected communities, and we greatly appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we carry out this important work.
