SAF Regional Program Manager BrookeLynn Elder and Airmen at the 99th Medical Group at Nellis AFB show off donated face masks.

COVID 19 has definitely left an impact on everyday life, to the point that leaving home with a face covering is a necessity. If you’re an airmen you also have other things you have to worry about when leaving home: grabbing your hat or “cover,” making sure your uniform is up to standard or in regulation, and of course like everyone else, phone, wallet, keys, etc.
By providing face coverings, the American Red Cross has taken one thing off the to-remember list for our men and women who serve on the front lines of the 99th Medical Group (MDG). Not only do these face coverings go to our current enlisted personnel that serve, but also to the patients of the Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center which consists of veterans who have served as well as their families.
BrookeLynn Elder, Regional Program Manager for SAF, has coordinated and delivered over 200 customized masks that will help our Airmen continue to stay safe and healthy. These kind gestures are some of many that cement an ongoing partnership between The American Red Cross and the 99th MDG of the United States Air Force.
With thanks to the Mask Posse and the United Way of Southern Nevada for donating the face coverings that make it possible for us to help keep our military members safe.
