Greenwich, CT – The American Red Cross Metro NY North Chapter announced Connie Anne Harris and Lauren E. Walsh as Co-Chairs of the 2023 Red & White Ball. This highly anticipated event, which sold out in 2022, will happen on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Greenwich Country Club.
“We are so grateful to Connie Anne and Lauren for their leadership and support of the 2023 Red & White Ball! This is the signature fundraising event for our Red Cross chapter and helps to support our mission to alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies,” said Stephanie Dunn Ashley, CEO, American Red Cross Metro NY North Chapter.
Connie Anne Harris is a retired publishing executive who now advocates and passionately fundraises for causes in health, women’s issues, and historical preservation. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Hospital for Special Surgery, where she and her husband, Jeremiah, co-chair the annual golf outing. Connie Anne is also a member of the Board of Greenwich Emergency Medical Services, where her role is co-chair of development. She recently joined the Board of the Greenwich Historical Society and looks forward to her role as co-chair of the Red Cross Red & White Ball. Connie Anne is a graduate of the Agnes Irwin School in Rosemont, Penn., and of Boston College. She resides in Greenwich, Conn., with her husband and their two beloved labs.

Lauren Walsh is a philanthropist and community leader. She is deeply involved in several Greenwich nonprofits, including the American Red Cross Metro NY North Chapter, the Greenwich YWCA, and the Greenwich Emergency Medical Services. In addition, Lauren actively supports the Greenwich First Responders, including the Police, Fire and EMS Departments, and she is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of children and families through Greenwich Hospital’s pediatrics and NICU campaigns. She received her B.A. from Pine Manor College and has worked in retail and visual merchandising, including positions at J. Crew, Ralph Lauren, and Kate Spade.
“The Red & White Ball brings us together to support the Red Cross, which is a vital piece of the fabric of our community. I am excited to serve as co-chair for a second year to help support this important lifesaving mission,” said Lauren E. Walsh, Ball Co-Chair.
The Red & White Ball is the signature fundraiser for the American Red Cross Metro NY North Chapter, serving Greenwich, Conn., Westchester and Rockland counties, and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
