NEW YORK – APRIL 10, 2024 – The American Red Cross in Greater New York is proud to announce that Devika Bulchandani, a world-class marketer and business executive, and Anu Aiyengar, a leader in the corporate finance sector, have officially joined the Greater New York Board of Directors.
“We are delighted to welcome Anu and Devika to our Board of Directors here in Greater New York,” said Celena Sarillo, Interim CEO, American Red Cross in Greater New York. “With their incredible track record of success in the finance and marketing sectors, each of their skillsets will be vitally important to our continued dedication to the humanitarian mission of the American Red Cross.”

ABOUT ANU AIYENGAR
Anu Aiyengar is the Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at J.P. Morgan. She is also a member of their Global Banking Management team and serves on the Steering Committee of Women On the Move for JPMorgan Chase. Since 1999, she has advised clients, both domestically and internationally, on nearly $1 trillion worth of various types of transactions.
Anu also serves on the Board of Trustees of Smith College, the Board of Directors of Youth INC, the Board of Directors for Dress for Success, and is a founding member of the Smith Business Advisory Council. She was named to Barron’s “100 Most Influential Women in U.S. Finance” and was recognized by American Banker as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Finance.” She is frequently quoted in the financial press and interviewed on CNBC and Bloomberg TV.
She is involved with several initiatives across J.P. Morgan and Wall Street to recruit, mentor and develop women, often serving as a panelist and speaker at industry events such as: Wall Street Women’s Forum, Women Corporate Directors, Women’s Private Equity Summit, the Asian Women in Business, and the South Asian Bar Association Leadership Awards.
Anu holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Smith College and a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. She currently lives in New York City with her husband.
ABOUT DEVIKA BULCHANDANI
Devika is the Global Chief Executive Officer of Ogilvy. She is responsible for all aspect of the creative network’s business, which spans advertising, public relations, consulting, experience, and health across 124 offices in 88 countries.
Under her leadership, Ogilvy was named Network of the Year at the 2022 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for producing work that upended the status quo, altered the conversation, and created meaningful change in spaces that support small businesses, social media positivity, domestic violence, and international reproductive rights. Devika is proudest of her work which blends social causes and brand-building efforts, including her role as a driving force behind Mastercard’s long-running “Priceless” campaign and “True Name” campaign, which is a first-of-its-kind feature that empowers transgender and non-binary people to display their chosen name on their Mastercard.
She has been recognized as a 2022 Matrix Awards honoree by New York Women in Communications, Moves Magazine’s “NY Power Women” (2020), Campaign Magazine’s “US Advertising Agency Head of the Year” (2019), and She Runs It’s “Working Mother of the Year” (2017), among other accolades.
Born in India, Devika received her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Psychology at St. Xavier’s in Mumbai and received her Master’s Degree in Communications at the University of Southern California. Along with her husband, son and daughter, she currently lives in New York City.
