SALT LAKE CITY (June 4, 2024) — YESCO Outdoor Media, a leading Salt Lake City-based billboard advertising company, is making a significant contribution by donating digital billboard space to showcase the impactful programs of the American Red Cross of Utah, focusing on volunteerism, blood donation and disaster preparedness. The Red Cross of Utah's important messages are being displayed on YESCO's digital billboards spanning from Utah County to Brigham City along the Wasatch Front.
“We are honored to partner with the Red Cross of Utah in amplifying their essential initiatives that aid communities in times of need and promote preparedness for disasters,” said Nathan Young, President of YESCO Outdoor Media. “By leveraging our digital billboard network, we aim to enhance awareness, boost engagement and extend the reach of the Red Cross’s vital programs and events to a wider audience across Utah.”
This generous in-kind donation by YESCO will support various Red Cross efforts aimed at assisting people in need throughout the state. “We deeply appreciate YESCO’s support in spreading the mission of the American Red Cross to Utahns across state,” said Heidi Ruster, Chief Executive Officer of the American Red Cross Utah/Nevada Region. “Through this strategic partnership, we’re able to reach a broader audience and effectively get the word out about our disaster preparedness, blood donation, military family support and other critical programs.”
Statewide impact
The Red Cross’s messaging is now featured on 22 YESCO Outdoor Media digital billboards strategically positioned along high-traffic highways in key locations such as Midvale, West Valley City, Millcreek, Salt Lake City, Draper, Sandy, American Fork, Lindon, Springville, Brigham City, Ogden, Clearfield, Farr West and Layton.
Through its services ranging from disaster relief and blood donation to lifesaving skills training and reuniting families across borders, the American Red Cross significantly impacts lives in positive ways. The billboard displays showcase the Red Cross’s capability to offer aid to those in need, serving as a powerful reminder of support and available assistance. “Our home smoke alarm installation program helps to safeguard people from house fires,” Ruster said. “However, without awareness, our reach is limited. Collaboration from partners like YESCO’ enables us to reach more people and make homes safer across Utah.”
Moreover, the billboard messages actively promote blood donation, volunteering and financial contributions to bolster disaster relief efforts, engaging the community in supporting these critical causes.
