SEATTLE/TACOMA, Thursday, June 20, 2024 — Western Washington Papa Johns and the American Red Cross have joined together to kick-off summer with a delicious thank you to local blood donors. All who come to give blood, platelets or plasma July 1-August 31 will receive a coupon for a free large, 2-topping pizza courtesy of Papa Johns! This offer is available to donors throughout King, Snohomish, Pierce and Thurston counties, and is a reflection of Papa Johns commitment to a stable blood supply in our region and beyond.

The start of summer can shake up normal routines, but donation appointments can’t fall off the calendar. The partnership with Papa Johns will help the Red Cross meet blood and platelet donations during the summer months when donations decrease but the need remains constant. Without the support of generous volunteer donors, blood & platelets may not be ready the moment patients need them for lifesaving transfusions.
