LOS ANGELES, April 19 — On Monday, April 17, the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region hosted the 4th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic Tournament held in Burbank. Some of Hollywood’s biggest names such as Joe Pesci, James Caan, Kelsey Grammer, Ray Romano and other great talent generously donated their time to support the American Red Cross and help raise awareness and donations for disaster relief in the Los Angeles area.
Over 125 players took to the tees to help raise approximately $300,000 that will go towards providing necessary resources that will assist in providing needed relief during times of disaster as well as in helping better prepare LA local communities.
“We are thrilled to have the support of so many that came out for this annual event,” said Jarrett Barrios, CEO American Red Cross Los Angeles Region. "Each year we have a great time at this event but the best thing is we are all focused on making a difference in the lives of those effected by emergencies – big or small. These funds will go a long way in assisting during times of disaster.”
