LONG BEACH, July 11 — The American Red Cross Greater Long Beach, Rio Hondo and South Bay Chapter is pleased to announce the addition of four new board members joining the Red Cross Greater Long Beach Rio Hondo and South Bay Chapter board of directors. The new board members include: Mark M. Chung, Samantha Fabrigas, Danita Y. Humphrey, and Dale A. Spiegel Jr.
“We welcome the addition of these four proven leaders,” said Margaret Arbini-Madonna, Red Cross Executive Director of the Long Beach, Rio Hondo and South Bay Chapter. “Their combined experience will strengthen our chapter’s ability to prepare residents to face any disaster that may come our way.”
Mark M. Chung - Medical Director & owner of Sleep + Lung MD. He has over 25 years of clinical medical practice and experience. Doctor Chung graduated from the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and was trained in Respiratory Medicine at Harbor – UCLA Medical Center. He has worked at the University Hospital Stony Brook in New York.
Samantha Fabrigas – Works as an administrator and paralegal at Craton, Switzer & Tokar LLP, in Long Beach where she manages day-to-day operations, facilities and staff. Fabrigas was President of the Junior League of Long Beach, where she was able to make a measurable, positive impact on the welfare of greater Long Beach children and their families.
Danita Y. Humphrey – Spent many years volunteering her service in the community. She’s past president of the Junior. League of Long Beach, and served on the governing board of directors for CAMEO, a professional auxiliary of women in the Assistance League of Long Beach.
Dale A. Spiegel Jr – Joined Ernst & Young directly out of law school in 1978 and was promoted to partner/principal in 1987. Spiegel’s career was spent working full time on international tax planning for U.S. and foreign based multinational companies and their investors, and on foreign related merger and acquisitions transactions.
They join 2017-2018 Officers and current board members:

The Red Cross Chapter of Greater Long Beach has 34 board members, elected by members every three years, and each board member is eligible to serve up to a total of nine years.
