LOS ANGELES, August 9, 2025 – The American Red Cross Los Angeles Region will close its shelter at College of the Canyons (26455 Rockwell Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, 91355) effective immediately. Residents affected by the fire in need of shelter assistance, can call the Red Cross at 800-675-5799.
The Canyon fire is a reminder of the importance of being prepared for disasters big and small. The Red Cross offers these safety tips you should follow:
