LOS ANGELES, February 4, 2025 — The American Red Cross is working with partners to locate a new shelter facility for residents currently at the Pasadena Convention Center. When the Red Cross took over management of the Pasadena shelter, the Civic Auditorium Complex requested that the facility be returned to the city shortly after the first week of February.
We understand shelter transitions can feel unexpected, but we want to assure you that these are carefully planned, and we will be posting the transition date as soon as those plans are solidified.
The Red Cross will continue to have a congregate sheltering option until all the residents have a plan in place to get them to their next housing solution.
